(For Type 1 Install)
- Use third picture in review for reference points.
- Remove front bumper and loosen headlights.
- Remove front fenders
- Remove lower door hinge bolts
- Remove top bolt only of upper door hinge
- Install lower bar loosely to bottom door hinge marked yellow with provided bolts and cut fender foam insulation marked in green to clear bar then tape it around the bar.
- Install front anchor using attached steel wire and feed through red circled long hole and loosely secure with stud at yellow circled long hole
- attach front of lower bar to front anchor stud.
- Install upper bar to top hole of upper door hinge and loosely secure with provided bolt then loosely secure bar to front anchor point with provided nut.
- Tighten front anchor mount then top door bolt in that order. Front anchor tightening will press and shape chassis steel to fit. Tighten to 5kgf/m.
- Tighten lower door hinge bolts with bar installed
- install and secure fender(s), headlights, then front bumper cover.
