every time you open the door. You first thing you see is the Cherry Red "STI" . It pops up as the color gives contrast to the black interior when going in the Driver side.

Installed it by myself. If you have a small hand "like mine" you don't need to remove panels to access the push start.
I gain access on the Fuse box at the lower right corner and stick my hand inside and push the top clip and hold the other end so it wont get back, then i push the lower clip and all will come out and followed by removing the socket connector.

Preferable over just swapping the red button cover. Its something you’ll notice and enjoy every time you drive.

VAB left hand drive: Remove lower screw on dash panel. Lower dash panel pulls away from the top. Then carefully work the push button panel put directly forward.

Remove trim panel around ignition switch, disconnect switch harness, release two tabs on the ignition switch mounting, pull out stock switch, install in reverse order.

Genuine sti part. Nice additional to interior. Quality part. Glows at night.

Installed on sti va. No need to remove any interior. Remove fuse cover and route your hand to the back of the push start button. It is held with 2 clips. Squeeze and push forward and your button slides out. Plug is also held with clip. Easy install

2022 Forester Sport. Looks awesome and should be install from factory.

- Installation tips
Easy install, remove side cover of dash to reveal screw and also one screw on lower right in foot well. Once unscrewed, pull out lower portion of dash and then there is a small portion above that to remove. Once out, reach back behind start button, squeeze prongs and it will come forward. Release wire harness and plug STI start button in and slide it in
Just reverse the directions to put back together. Really easy.
