A small OEM piece. Fitment is exactly as expected from a genuine Subaru part, clipping into place properly without any issues or uneven gaps.

Worth noting this version comes unpainted, so it will need paint matching before blending in perfectly with the bumper. I’ll probably look into whether there’s a factory-painted option available as well, but as a genuine replacement part, the quality itself feels spot on.

Simple part, clean fit, and definitely better than leaving the tow hook opening exposed or damaged.

Clean the tow hook opening area on the rear bumper.
Align the new cover tabs with the mounting slots in the bumper.
Gently press the cover into place until all clips click in securely.
Check the edges sit flush and even with the bumper surface.

If painting first, allow the paint to fully cure before installation to avoid marking the finish.
