If you are installing a JDM rear subframe brace, be sure to replace all four bolts on your STi! These are much more beefier than the stock bolts.

Nice quality bolt, as expected from STi. No trouble installing, just know where it goes. Two bolts delivered per order.

Two bolts (total) replace the two forward OEM bolts of the rear subframe. I added a picture of the Subaru maintenance manual for reference. Loosen the old bolts with a breaker bar if stuck, put the new ones in and torque to 145NM to prevent subframe movement under load. Remember: bolts to be used once, replace when you take them out.

Jack up the rear of the car, secure with jack stands, remove the rear subframe main support bolt with 19mm socket/breaker bar. Install the STi bolt and torque to spec 145 Nm.
