Remove small panel at the back. Unscrew the 2 screws. Add the lid on the new compartment and screw back the compartment back on the console. Done

All you need is a plastic removal tool, Phillip Head screw driver and a flash light to see what you are doing. Very easy to do, can be done in 10-15 min to perfection.

Jet black is a good colour to match with my 2008 sti interior even after 8 years of usage of my interior material. The instruction manual is in japanese but very easy to understand with the diagrams shown.

I suggest to finish assembling the cover to the new console before installing the console to the base.
