The STi battery holder is unique design of other battery holder. The special red color represent only STi parts and good quality of the products over Stock parts or OEM parts. The important is the both left and right L-shape brackets to secure and suppress downward the whole battery in stabilise position. When driving, braking and uneven road surface, the battery will not slip out of the battery holder. The cow honk bar design is additional force to suppress the battery downward. Both L-shape bracket to secure in line position and to prevent the battery slicing forward and backward. This is an advantage other straight battery holder bars. This is SAFETY plus for battery secure in the engine compartment.

Get a 10mm wrench to unscrew the two nuts holding the existing battery holder, replace the old holder with the STI battery holder and re-fasten the nuts accordingly and you are done.
