I painted the vent trim before but it didn’t satisfy my itch knowing it wasn’t a genuine part. Luckily, it’s a cheap part to buy and the little details makes a huge difference! It has a premium look and feel to it and matches all the other piano black trim I have replaced. I also like to think that the new vents smell fresher too ^^; - Photo; - Installation tips
No tools are required. Just like the center vents, you can easily pry with just your hands and fingertips. It takes a lot of force still—there are 2 tabs on top and 2 tabs on the bottom for your awareness. They won’t break. I found it easiest to grab the center vent trim and pull towards me.
