The part arrived well along with the other items of this order. The quality of this part is excellent and sturdy. The circled area of the image shows the exact location of the part between the top hat and the spring that rests on it.

- Installation tips
Installation requires:
- Lift vehicle on jack stands.
- Remove wheel using impact wrench.
- Remove shock by detaching Brake Line, bolts from the front knuckle, and the nuts accessible in the engine bay at the strut tower.
-lower and remove from vehicle.
- Using a spring compressor, carefully compress the spring until the top hat and spring seat have free-play then remove the securing bolt of the top-hat.
replace the spring seat, carefully align the spring to its proper location and place the top hat above the spring seat then perform the steps above in reverse. -
