If you enter the address of Japanparts upon the checkout at a shopping site, Japanparts in Tokyo will receive the item for you and ship it to your overseas address. If you also have a purchase of auto parts from Japanparts, it can be consolidated to save shipping cost (it is OK if there is no purchase at Japanparts). Q7:The auction will end in an hour. Can I make a request for a last-minute bid?
A: No. A request must be made at least 12 hours before the auction ends. Our hours of operation are between 9:30 and 17:30 Japan Time through Monday to Friday. Although we monitor our service after office hours (until 22:00 on weekdays) and holidays and weekends, please be aware that we are not able to keep a close eye on it during those off-hours.

Q8: I have been overbid. Can I raise the maximum bid?
A: No. We place a bid once for all. We are not able to keep monitoring an auction real time and therefore are not able to compete against other bidders toward the end of auction. You are notified of the result only after the auction ends. If there is enough time left - at least 24 hours - we can place another bid upon your request. In that case, please make another request with the updated maximum bid (for the full amount, not just for the difference) since we cannot raise the paid amount on your original request. You will be given the full refund for the overbid request (note: we are not able to refund a Paypal payment out of business hours).

Q9:It seems that there are some dishonest sellers on YAJ who do not ship items. What can be done?
A: Please review the seller’s evaluation carefully. If it has low ratings, it is better to forgo no matter how inexpensive the item is offered.

Q10: The item was won at the price lower than the maximum bid I had entered. Can I get back the difference?
A: Yes. The adjusted amount (including the service fee and the Paypal fee) according to the winning price will be charged to you. Thus there is no risk of overpaying..

Q11:If an item could not be won on YAJ, what will happen to the payment I made?
A: We refund you the full amount.

Q12:Can you translate the description of an item?
A: We do not do translation. Use a translation service such as Google. If you want to ask a question to a seller or a shop, we can do it for you. By form:

Q13:Since I can shop by myself, I would like to use JP Free Address Service only: can you pay by cash-on-delivery for the item and charge me by Paypal later?
A: No. JP Free Address Service, with which the customer does shopping by himself, does not accept cash-on-delivery. Please use Purchase Service if you cannot complete a purchase

Q20: Can you ship out any items?
A: There are items we cannot handle due to laws and treaties such as narcotics, pornography, counterfeited goods, pirated items, hazardous materials, living animals, valuable goods, IATA Airline hazardous materials. Please refer to the Japanpost’s page below. Currently, lithium batteries, sprays, batteries cannot be shipped. They cannot be shipped by International TA-Q-BIN Service, either. More info.

An item can be confiscated upon importing to your country even if it has no problem in Japan. Please review the laws and treaties of your country before purchasing.

Although food and drink are not entirely prohibited for export, we suggest that the User should not order them. Please note especially that we cannot ship chilled or frozen foods.
