- How do I use the
shopping cart?
Step1)
There are
2ways to search for the part you are interested in.
Head
of our top page, http://www.japanparts.com
Car Manufacturer →
Car Name → Parts Category
You can see corresponding
parts of all parts manufacturers.
Quick Search Head of the left side of our
top page, http://www.japaparts.com
You can choose “car
manufacture”, “car model” ,“parts category” or
“parts manufacturer”.
You can choose any one of
the four columns.
You can set your home currency.
Click under JPY price in each item, and a new page will
pop up. Once you have selected your home currency, click
“refresh” button. This system helps you to imagine
the part price, but it’s only as a guide.
Step2)
Click “more info”, when you find the part.
Check the part to see whether it’s the right part or
not.
Please choose “select 1”, “select 2” and
change QTY if necessary.
And click “Add to the cart for quote”.
Step3)
If you want to add some more parts, then please click
“back to item list” and go back to Step 2.
If you are NOT to add any other parts, then
please skip this step.
PLEASE NOTE: Our Site requires "Cookies" to
be enabled. Please adjust your
Web browser.
Step 4)
Please choose your area and click “Select Your
Area”.
Step 5)
Please fill out "Delivery Charge Quote".
If you want to know the delivery charge to “Your
nearest airport”, “To your nearest seaport” or
“To your nearest Greyhound office (US customers
only)”, choose each of the above column.
Especially for big parts, it will give you
various options if you choose the above columns.
Select the "Payment Method".
Surcharge of paying by Bank or International Money
Order will be
added as "Surcharge" at check out. Surcharge
is
JPY3,000 by Bank or International Money Order.
Input your email address and click “SUBMIT”.
Step 6)
Please choose Freight method and click “Proceed with
an Order” if the parts price and shipping fee are OK
with you.
Step 7)
Please go on to read "PLEASE
READ".
Step 8)
Please fill out "Consignee's Information",
"Buyer Information" and "The Password
for a Point Check" and "Process an
order". Check
your email address again here.
Make sure to input your password after your e-mail
address to save or apply your points. Create a
password if this is the first order.
Step 9)
Please input the points (how many points) that you
want to use (If you have already got the discount
points for your previous order(s)) and click
“Process with an order”.
If you are shopping
with us for the first time, then please SKIP this
step since you do not own discount points then.
PLEASE NOTE: IMPORTING TAX, DUTY, etc ARE NOT
INCLUDED. You may have to pay it.
We do NOT know how
much it will be. Please inquire about it at the
Customs in your country.
- What is the next step after I have made an order
with the shopping cart?
An email entitled
"Information of order content" will be sent to
you automatically from us after you have made an order
with our shopping cart. And you may check the
order content, total amount including shipping fee and
surcharge in the mail.
- Why didn't I get any information from you after
I have made an order with
the shopping cart?
Usually you will get an automatic email
entitled "Information of Order content" from
us immediately after you have made an order with our
shopping cart. If you do not get it and you
are not sure whether your order has gone through or not,
please mail to support
team and inquire about it to us.
Sometime customer put wrong e-mail address.
- Why
the amount was different between the one on your site and the
one charged
by my credit card company?
We
quote in JPY (Japanese Yen), when you pay in your
currency by credit card, the JPY amount is calculated
with the credit card company’s exchange rate. Each
credit card company has their own rate and timing of
exchange conversion. Please inquire your credit card
company for further information. We will not be
responsible for losses caused by fluctuations in
exchange rates.
On the browser, you can set your home currency, this
system helps you to imagine the part price, but
it’s only as a guide.
- My bank cannot transfer money in JPY?
Please contact our support
team after making your order. Support team helps you
for transaction in USD or EUR.
- Can you declare lower value on the invoice of
order?
No,
we cannot declare lower value on invoice.
It is our
policy that we cannot declare lower value of parts in
order to avoid confusion. Due to the large
number of parcels that we deliver to foreign countries
every day, we don't want to run the risk of doing so.
If the Customs Office discovers it one day, we will
not be allowed to export parts to foreign countries
any longer.

By what company do you ship the goods?
Mostly
by Japan Post's EMS.
Depending
on destination, size and weight, we use DHL,
FEDEX, UPS, Air Cargo or Sea Cargo as well.
We
choose the best shipping company for your
purchase.
- When
do you advise me the tracking number(s)?
After
we hand goods on Japan post or ship to bond area, they
give us tracking number(s). We used to advise them to
you immediately by email.
Here are links for tracking; EMS
(Japanpost), DHL,
Fedex,
Schenker,
Seino
Logix.
Sometime it takes a few days to renew their tracking
data.
- I received the goods. But they were damaged. What
shall I do?
Contact our support
team immediately. All goods we export are insured. We
often need pictures of damaged goods. Please keep damaged
goods and package. Investigator may want to look them.
- How to use the discount points that I get in
my order?
Step 1:
When you decide to order some parts, please click
on.
Step 2:
When you choose your area, please click on.
Step 3:
When you fill out "Delivery Charge Quote"
and "Payment Method", please click on.
Step 4:
If shipping cost is ok, please click on.
Step 5:
When you fill out "Payment Deposit"
"Consignee's Information" and "The
Password for a Point Check" ,please click on.
Make sure to input your password after inputting
your email address.
Step
6:
Please put the points (how many points) that you
want to use in this order.
Step
7:
Please choose "I accept" and click on.
Then you will be able to use your discount point.

How long are points valid for?
Points are valid for a year since they are
added, it's the same time when we advise you the
tracking number usually.
- I don't remember my password when I made
order before...
The
password you created was in the automatic email
entitled "Information of Order content"
from us immediately after you have made an order
with our shopping cart.
Please check it.
- How
many points do I have?
On the right side of our top page, put your
email address that you used on our shopping cart and
password you created. Auto-response sends email
immediately.
- What is JDM?
JDM means “Japanese Domestic Model.” We
only deal with JDM parts.
Please note that all our parts are for JDM, so
we CANNOT GUARANTEE that any of the
parts will work well on exporting and
overseas models. That means, we
CANNOT ACCEPT any parts returning or anything like
that.
Right hand drive(RHD) for cars in Japan.
- Can I inquire about parts NOT on your site?
Yes,
email us.
We will try and locate any Japanese domestic model
part(s). We do not know whether the parts fit on
overseas specification.
Give us the information as much as you have, parts
manufacture, parts number, parts details and full
detail of the car. If JDM chassis, advise us full
VIN number. We cannot search especially Honda parts
without JDM chassis No.
or advise the URL if you have found something on the
net you want.
Please note;
(1) Parts for models prior to 1991 are generally
obsolete and becoming more difficult to find
(2) We don't deal in any Used parts whatsoever
(3) We do not supply key and/or lock assemblies,
Alarm systems, OR remote/keyless entry devices, for
any unit we have not ourselves supplied.
(4)We do not supply Parts to Companies or
Individuals who manufacture Copy or Knock-Off Parts.
(5)We cannot search the parts by pictures.
- Can
you supply used parts?
No,
we don’t deal in any used parts whatsoever.
